My inspiration is primarily the natural world, especially as I see it whilst kayaking or hiking or snowshoeing. But I am also inspired by classical music and art, remembered scenes, and modern funky designs.  No single technique can express such varied inspirations!  I enjoy the challenge of trying to find a “fibre” way to convey my ideas.

My hope is that those who view my art will find a chuckle of humour, a sparkle of insight, a reflective angle, a bridge of ideas, or a trail to follow.
