Tiina Kukkonen

Tiina Kukkonen is a visual artist, arts educator, and researcher. Formally trained in painting and drawing, Tiina dabbles in many different media but has recently turned her focus to needle felting. Her approach to felting resembles painting in that colours are layered to achieve different visual effects. Tiina often gives workshops in the community to share her love of felt and other art forms. She holds a Ph.D. in Education from Queen’s University, where she also teaches visual arts education to aspiring teachers.
